- Access to public transportation, amenities, and services to reduce environmental footprint.
- Provision of facilities for bicycles and electric vehicle charging stations.
- Ensure sustainable supply chain and material sourcing wherever feasible.
- Assessment studies for enhancement of biodiversity in and around the project.
- Promote use of drought resistant species and native species in landscaping.
- Assess climate risks and incorporate adaptation measures into the design and construction.
- Implement systems for efficient water management.
- Implement pollution prevention measures to minimize the impact on air, water, and soil quality.
- Use of efficient waste management techniques on site.
- Ensure green building certifications for all upcoming projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations during construction stage.
- Design energy-efficient buildings by utilizing appliances and systems such as efficient HVAC, lighting, and building automation systems.
- Use of renewable energy sources wherever possible.
- Conduct assessments (Embodied carbon & Life Cycle assessments) to study emissions generated and implement strategies to minimize GHG emissions during construction and operation.
- Monitor and report greenhouse gas emissions regularly.
- Design buildings to promote the health and well-being of occupants by ensuring good indoor environment quality.
- Climate risk assessment studies of new projects to be conducted wherever required aligning with the Task force on Climate related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) framework.
- Identification of relevant SDG’s to be done at company level and necessary actions to be initiated on site to address the same.
